An old friend has begun a blog

My friend, from almost 30 years ago, Jerry Pounds, has begun a new blog. He is going through some soul-searching in his initial entries, and that’s not a bad thing. If you have some time you might check out what he has to say. Your comments might help steer him in the right direction as he blogs.

Thanks for the link Perry. I am not sure any of your friends and readers will be interested in my mentations. I am not sure I am really soul-searching. I am doing a cathartic thing – getting psychiatric.

I am, as Mick Jagger sang, “just trying to make some sense.” I am trying to find out what I really think and feel by talking about what is in my head. I may discover what is there.

Personal revelations are tiresome to read about – as are spiritual quest. It all sounds pretentious and too self-absorbed. But, and that is a big but, that is what somes Blog is – something personal.

And, I think that’s what a lot of people really want – to “see inside the soul of the guy sitting next to us” as Woody Allen said.

Your help is appreciated. I am technically disadvantaged and I can’t even make the links on the site work. I worked with the code, but it is not working with me.

    Keep tuning in.

Clearly, there are some things you are pondering that I can’t help you with, but I can probably help you with making the links on your blog work, so if you have a specific question drop me an email and I’ll be glad to do anything I can to assist you. When I’m uncertain about such things, I always turn to this site and look up what I am trying to do. You might try doing some reading there or if that doesn’t help, drop me a private message.

Best wishes with your blog. I’m sure you’ll eventually find an audience who may be able to help with your catharsis. I do definitely plan to stay tuned.
