It’s News to Me

Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Perry Nelson, and I live in Knoxville, TN, USA.

I have been blogging since April 2002 over at my blog on Blogger, but since I wanted some of the capabilities that WordPress offered and was interested in trying out Flock, I’ve recently moved my blog to this location where I expect to continue the tradition. I am now retired, but during my working career I spent a total of about 30 years in consulting, where I taught management and communications skills to managers, supervisors and employees in a wide variety of industries.

One of the features that attracted me to WordPress was the ability to moderate comments on my blog, so though I have enabled comments, if you choose to make a comment please be aware that it may not show up until I’ve had a chance to review it. Be patient with me. I’ll review them as quickly as possible and approve them readily (in almost all cases). However, I am the sole arbiter of which comments are permitted because this is my blog, but generally I welcome your participation with me here.
